HARRISBURG – Invasion of privacy is an issue that really gets under State Rep. Babette Josephs’ skin.

That’s why the Philadelphia Democrat introduced a bill, passed unanimously last week by the House, that would ban the forced implantation of computer chips in humans.
Conjuring Orwellian images, Josephs worries the identification devices – the size of a grain of rice – could lead to a real-life Big Brother nightmare.
“I’m doing, I think, what the legislature does too little of,” she said. “This is a problem on the horizon, and I want to address it before it becomes a societal disgrace.”
Though the technology hasn’t debuted in Pennsylvania, VeriChip, a company in Florida, received federal Food and Drug Administration clearance in 2004 to market the implanted microchips, which were tested on 200 Alzheimer’s patients.
Injected into the triceps, the chips have unique 16-digit codes and GPS capabilities that allow nursing homes to find wandering patients.
“I think it’s really horrible that we want to chip them like barcoded packages of meat,” said Kim Sultzbaugh, a research specialist who helped Josephs write the bill.
California, North Dakota, and Wisconsin have enacted laws similar to the ban Josephs is proposing.
The technology can also be used for security, as in a widely reported case in Mexico. There, the implants were required for some government employees to enter restricted buildings.
A bar in Scotland even offers to implant patrons with chips that allow them to purchase pints without a credit card, according to news accounts.
Despite the technology’s potential usefulness, Sultzbaugh said, some Christian groups liken the identification devices to the “mark of the beast,” a Satanic mark described in the Book of Revelation and represented by the number 666.
Josephs said electronic ankle bracelets could keep track of someone in a less-invasive manner.
But for some “murderers, killers, and rapists,” ankle bracelets won’t do the trick, said State Rep. Dan Moul (R., Adams).
Moul amended Josephs’ bill to allow chips to be implanted by court order. The bill also would allow the chips to be implanted in Guantanamo Bay detainees who end up in Pennsylvania.
“Terrorists could take that ankle bracelet off with a saw and strap it to a dog and let them run around,” Moul said. “We need to know if these people are returning to the war to fight against America.”
Josephs called Moul’s changes “inflammatory” and “sensational” and hopes the Senate throws them out when it considers the measure.
Erik Arneson, spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Dominic Pileggi (R., Delaware), said the bill was not scheduled for immediate action.

The mark of the beast technology is being foisted upon those who are least abel to resist. First the insane, and criminal, then the military, then the rest of us.

I’m glad this passed. It really doesn’t guarantee anything. Did you read about the court ordering criminals to get the chip??? Aren’t most of us Conservative, Bible reading folks on a watch list. And if that is eventually coined as “criminal” then we would also be required to be chipped. Plus, the Scripture says the NONE will buy nor sell unless they have the mark, whatever that mark may be. Hmmm.

The next step is criminals….
Just the ones INSIDE prisons.
Then the ones that are sex offenders on their release….
Then any criminals that committed violent crimes….
Then anyone in prison or jail and released……
Then anyone ever arrested.
Then arrest and release those that are gun owners, Bible Believing Christians, tax protesters, states rights advocates, gold and silver “hoarders”, anti-aborters….. Just to keep track of the trouble makers.
That of course would not be even handed so there would be a NEED to chip everyone; and just to help out the folks, add a “Conveinience Code” to replace your ATM card. Since the dollar won’t be worth anything anyway it really is a convenient transition to the new Currency of the World.

i don’t think this legislation means too much…
this is at the state level, but the “pass act” S. 1261, is a bill currently in committee at the federal level…
have you heard about this, remnant?
the “pass act” is the “real ID act” repackaged… restore the republic.com calls it a “classic bait and switch”…
concerning individual states, ““the bill declares ’states shall’ conform in various places. DHS head Janet Napolitano admitted they are setting the standards for states in a June 25th press conference.”

“the PASS Act enables a Biometric component be added to all drivers licenses nationwide”
“Section 242 (d)(2) will ’subject each person who submits an application for a driver’s license or identification card to mandatory facial image capture.’”

i got this info in an e-mail from a believer who stated:
the US government and its terrorist organization Homeland Security have NEVER stopped their plans to microchip Americans. The RFID radio frequency tracking chips are already embedded in US passports and became mandatory since June 1st. This new Pass Act is just DHS REAL ID act wolf in sheep clothing, and it will pave way for the coming RFID injections when the cashless system arrives when US dollar dies (or even Nano-sized RFID that could fit into vaccine solutions during the coming pandemic)

Please think about this !
Many of the Biblical prophecies are being fulfilled in a far more subtle way that what we are open to seeing with our eyes and senses. True many read into something more than is the true reality. Many of Revelation’s prophecies are not even noticable by many Christians, let alone non-believers, because they are NOT HARSH ENOUGH in our daily lives to be even believed ansd sensed.
In fact, many would question we are in the “great tribultation”, or the “time of the end”, despite the fact the first and second world wars were far harsher to live through than the troubles today.
Because of the softness of the impacts of Revelations plagues, God has to bring seven plagues not just one or two to have any effect upon men, ust as he bought 10 plagueson egpt, one event was not harsh enough to change the Pharoah’s heart.
After each plague in Revelation what does man do – he blasphemes God and taunts him. In Revelation 11 men send gifts to one another when the two witnesses die in the broadway; despite the two Witnesses being able to reign fire down from heaven against he ungodly.
You would not send gifts to one another nor blaspheme and taunt yourf enemy, if you were truely scared of your opponent. in this case the opponent against men is GOD.
In fact if one disbelieves in any sort of divine authority he will not even believe that such has any power at all over him. So God has to prove to unbelievers he really is God almighty – so they will all hopefully fall down and worship him.
Summing up – I am inclined to believe The MARK is far more sinister than an electronic chip being implanted in the human body. What’s more, we arte aware silicon implants cause cancer and are far to obvious, plus the law suits agaist VERICHIP ( or whomever) for a grieveous sore on one s hand or forehead caused by the mark implantation and chemical reaction with ones flesh would sent them bankrupt over night.
As I have eletronics training, I would find a way to remove the chip, or at least jam its operation and then set up a business to emove the chips from others for cash in hand, or other personal favours.
The MARK has a name which is only discerned by those with “intelligence” or “wisdom” as in Rev 13.
We know the number of the MARK, but not its real name. We need the name to identify it. The NAME is only found by reverse engineering the number 666. That is where the intelligence comes in. It also has a shape, not mentioned in scripture, but none the less it too is significant – THE SHAPE.
In other words, God has given you a riddle to decipher – so best of luck!

I’m totally against human microchip tracking, in any form whatsoever.
Be it normal citizens or criminals, it’s just wrong and unethical.
I hate it, and I hate the government, what gives them the right?
If I had one of them put into me, I’d find a way to get it out and destroy it.
