The UN’s top health official has opened a forum in Mexico on combating swine flu by saying that the spread of the virus worldwide is now unstoppable.

World Health Organization head Margaret Chan added that the holding of the meeting in Cancun showed confidence in Mexico, which has been hard hit.
The WHO says most H1N1 cases are mild, with many people recovering unaided.
As the summit opened, the UK alone was projecting more than 100,000 new cases of H1N1 a day by the end of the summer.
As the peak of the flu season approaches in South America, some areas have declared a public health emergency.
El Salvador reported its first death from swine flu, a day after Paraguay reported its first fatality.
‘Mild symptoms’
“As we see today, with well over 100 countries reporting cases, once a fully fit pandemic virus emerges, its further international spread is unstoppable,” Dr Chan said in her opening remarks.
She stressed that the overwhelming majority of patients experienced mild symptoms and made a full recovery within a week, often in the absence of any form of medical treatment.
The exceptions, she said, were pregnant women and people with underlying health problems, who were at higher risk from complications from the virus and should be monitored if they fell ill.
“For a pandemic of moderate severity, this is one of our greatest challenges: helping people to understand when they do not need to worry, and when they do need to seek urgent care,” Dr Chan said.
Turning to the summit venue, the WHO chief added: “Mexico is a safe, as well as a beautiful and warmly gracious, place to visit.”
Leaders and experts from 50 countries are in Cancun for the two-day meeting to discuss strategies for combating the virus.
It has been more than two months since the initial alert over swine flu.
Since then, the H1N1 virus has entered more than 100 countries, infected more than 70,000 people and killed more than 300 worldwide.
Authorities across South America are becoming increasingly concerned as the peak flu season approaches, the BBC’s Andy Gallacher reports from Cancun.
Schools across Argentina have sent students home and pregnant women have been told they can take two weeks off work to avoid contracting the virus.
It is hoped the Cancun meeting will address many of the issues that might help slow the spread of swine flu but, our correspondent adds, many people are concerned that an effective vaccine has still not been developed.

What they are NOT telling you is that in Argentina there have been some very ill people with rapid onset of pneumonia reminiscent of the Spanish Flu of 1918. Patients within 2 hours are having terrible burning progressing to pneumonias with pulmonary hemorrhaging. There are reports that elective surgeries are being postponed in order to free up the ventilators for the severely ill patients.
So far, the U.S. experience with H1N1 has been a rather mild flu of little concern. However it should be noted that in 1918 they initually experienced a “3 day flu”. Within a few months the strain mutated into a very deadly illness.
H1N1 is apparently made up of several flu strains, one of them being Spanish flu.
There are some indications that, contrary to what we are being told, this flu is MORE SEVERE FOR THE HEALTHIEST, NOT for the most compromised. This was a hallmark of the Spanish flu. The teens and younger adults were the quickest to get sick, the most severely ill, and in many areas, the most likely to die.
The Spanish flu triggered a “Cytokine Storm” that caused an over production of Cytokines in the Immune System. Cytokines cause inflammation which is part of how it kills the pathogens. This inflammation is what produces body aches and many of the uncomfortable symptoms, NOT the invading virus or bacteria itself.
The Spanish flu caused a feed back in the body that in essence told it to produce MORE cytokines to fight off the cytokines. These out of control Cytokines of course produced ever increasing inflammation in ALL parts of the body which eventually led to failure of the blood vessels and slow hemorrhaging in the organs.
The lungs were often the first to cause death of course; but people presented with bleeding from the nose, ears, stomach, rectum… much like a Hemorrhagic Fever. (Eboli) However the brain tissues, aside from the bleeding, became inflamed causing seizures and other neurological problems. These problems affected the whole body.
This is why the HEALTHIEST were at such great risk, they had more Cytokines and a greater ability to quickly make more.
This is not a reason to panic, our Faith and Security are in the Lord.
It is only a flag alert you to be aware; to be ahead of what the WHO, the Government, and your Health Care Provider may be telling you.

hi folks,
there are a LOT of questions surrounding this “flu mixture” (imo, genetically spliced together and manufactured) and the “vaccines” they want to force on you…
they really are hyping this stuff big time, but let’s look at the numbers…
this is something i posted on another site, regarding an AP article dated 7/2/09… in that article they stated SEVEN thousand had come down with the flu… but “70,000″ doesn’t really change the numbers anyway (as you will see):
anyway, a couple of things really stood out in this AP article…
like this:
“Over 7,000 people have come down with swine flu worldwide and 311 died of it, according to the latest WHO figures.”
now this just doesn’t seem like a whole heck of a lot of people to me,
considering that there are over 6.7 BILLION people on the planet…
so i did a few rudimentary calculations:
7000 people out of 6.7 billion people is equal to ONE out of every MILLION
people on the planet who got infected with “swine flu” and that is equal to
.0001% of the population… {if you want to use the figure 70, 000, that is TEN out of a MILLION or .001% of the population}
AND
300 people out of 6.7 Billion is equal to FOUR out of every ONE HUNDRED MILLION people on the planet who died due to “swine flu” and that is equal to .00004% of population earth…
and THIS is what they are calling a “PANDEMIC”???
so WHO (pun intended) treats a person who has a 99.9999% chance of NOT having the specific illness??? {using the 70,000 figure, this is 99.999% of NOT having it}
and an even BETTER chance of NOT dying from it…
(don’t the folks at the WHO know how to do math??)
someone has to get these numbers out there to quash the fear of this flu!
second thing that stood out:
“WHO has a stockpile of about five million Tamiflu treatment courses donated by Roche, and sent 2.4 million treatments to 72 poor countries in May.”
does it really make sense to spend all that money to treat 2.4 million people
when statistically ONLY TWO of them have the “flu”… {using the 70,000 figure, statistically ONLY TWENTY… still no where near the amount sufficient to spend this kind of money… you think obama’s proposed “health” plan would treat people based on these statistics… not a chance!… his plan won’t even treat the elderly (cuz they are old and are gonna die anyway)…
third thing (and last thing):
“Antivirals such as Tamiflu can shorten swine flu illness by about a day if
given early. ”
so those TWO (or TWENTY) people will have their “flu illness” shortened by a whopping DAY…
now, i’m thinking that just maybe, whoever spliced together this assortment of “flu strains” (ya know, pig, bird, human)… well just maybe, they overestimated their “brilliance”… maybe they thought it was going to have a much larger impact and infect a LOT more people… but, you know the bible says that everything is to reproduce after its own KIND (species)… and this strange MIXTURE just isn’t finding a good place to land among the human population (or pigs or birds)…
so now they really gotta hype it up, and try to scare the population…
but i think the treatment is worse than the disease…
and i really don’t trust what they put into their vaccines…
i wonder why… LOL
that was the end of my comment on the other site, but i want to add that NONE of this makes sense… the ONLY way it makes sense is to consider it in light of the NWO’s human DE-population plan (and they have one!)…
the bible has already written about all of this…
this is one of the “pestilences” that the bible refers to…
do you really want to trust someone to give you a “vaccine” when they created the “illness” to begin with?
(that’s why they are creating mandatory vaccination programs cuz they know some people don’t want to get “vaccines”… if the hype doesn’t work, they’ll make it mandatory)

I would like to edit one point in my above posting. The young and healthy do not start with more Cytokines, rather they have a greater ability to quickly respond and produce Cytokines.
