“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”

â€But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.â€
—2 Timothy 3:13
At the same time the Bush administration was negotiating a still elusive agreement to keep the U.S. military in Iraq, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama tried to convince Iraqi leaders in private conversations that the president shouldn’t be allowed to enact the deal without congressional approval.
Mr. Obama’s conversations with the Iraqi leaders, confirmed to The Washington Times by his campaign aides, began just two weeks after he clinched the Democratic presidential nomination in June and stirred controversy over the appropriateness of a White House candidate’s contacts with foreign governments while the sitting president is conducting a war.
Some of the specifics of the conversations remain the subject of dispute. Iraqi leaders purported to The Times that Mr. Obama urged Baghdad to delay an agreement with Mr. Bush until next year when a new president will be in office – a charge the Democratic campaign denies.

It’s called the Logan Act and it is illegal for Obama to do this. Yet, you will never hear this from the media or news reports. Nor will any charges be brought up. Don’t vote for evil. Don’t vote for Obama.

I don’t want to vote for MCaine either. I don’t care if Sarah Pelin is christian. All she can do is cast a tiebreaking vote in the senate. Many people are voting for McCaine in hope that the McCaine dies quickly and then she moves into the presidency. That doesn’t feel right to me.
I want to vote for Bill Koenig (may have to write him in as William Keonig) even though he isn’t really trying to promote his campaign or candidacy. People who want a more effective dissent vote may be better off voting for somebody other than the 2 evil clowns (Obama/McCaine) that is already on the ballot.
Obama is fairly associated with Rick Warren and friends (his minority ‘christian’ side) – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obama#Political_positions
Obama has encouraged Democrats to reach out to evangelicals and other religious groups.[134] In December 2006, he joined Sen. Sam Brownback (R-KS) at the “Global Summit on AIDS and the Church” organized by church leaders Kay and Rick Warren.[135] Together with Warren and Brownback, Obama took an HIV test, as he had done in Kenya less than four months earlier.[136] He encouraged “others in public life to do the same” and not be ashamed of it.[137] Before the conference, eighteen anti-abortion groups published an open letter stating, in reference to Obama’s support for legal abortion: “In the strongest possible terms, we oppose Rick Warren’s decision to ignore Senator Obama’s clear pro-death stance and invite him to Saddleback Church anyway.”[138] Addressing over 8,000 United Church of Christ members in June 2007, Obama challenged “so-called leaders of the Christian Right” for being “all too eager to exploit what divides us.”[139]

I just sent in my ballot and wrote in Chuck Norris and Liza Minelli for Pres. and VP. (There’s a balanced ticket! ) I wouldn’t vote for McCain because he is a non-Christian conservative who falsly believes Conservativism and Republicanism equate to godliness–like many others who are delusional/deceived. I wouldn’t vote for Obama because he’s got some bizarre ideas as well. And for some reason (the peace that passes all understanding) I’m not worried at all.

Carrie I beg your pardon, but McCain is NOT a conservative. He is a Democrat who puts a R behind his name. This is why the media has annointed him a “maverick”.
But, I agree with you on the selection. I cannot a vote for either. It is a popular year for “Mr./Ms. None of the Above”.
