Document forensics expert: Obama “birth certificate” a “horrible forgery”

The purported Certification of Live Birth published by the Daily Kos left wing blog and claimed as genuine by the Obama campaign features a security border that differs dramatically from security borders on COLB documents before and after the one supposedly printed out for Obama in 2007.

Barack Obama may be on a world tour surrounded by a fawning media, but Sunday an expert in electronic document forensics released a detailed report on the purported birth certificate — actually a “Certification of Live Birth” or COLB — claimed as genuine by his campaign. The expert concludes with 100% certainty that it is a crudely forged fake: “a horribly forgery,” according to the analysis published on the popular right-wing Atlas Shrugs blog.
The purported birth certificate was published by the left wing Daily Kos blog on June 12 in response to unconfirmed reports that Obama was not in fact born in the United States (Canada and Kenya were suggested as the possible locations of his actual birth). Since he would in that case not be a natural born US citizen (his mother was not present in the US sufficiently long as an adult to pass American citizenship on to him automatically), he would not be eligible to be president. Israel Insider has followed the story in five previous articles (the previous one here) and uncovered evidence, most recently, of admitted forgery among Daily Kos bloggers, tolerance of electronic forgeries on the blog site, as well as efforts by a blog administrator to conceal the admission of forgery.
The latest examinaton of the purported documents is by far the most detailed and technically sophisticated to date.
Atlas Shrugs publisher Pamela Geller reports that the expert analyst, who goes by the screen name “Techdude”, is “an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American College of Forensic Examiners, The International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners, International Information Systems Forensics Association — the list goes on. He also a board certified as a forensic computer examiner, a certificated legal investigator, and a licensed private investigator. He has been performing computer-based forensic investigations since 1993 (although back then it did not even have a formal name yet) and he has performed countless investigations since then.”
The pseudonym was apparently inadequate to prevent Techdude’s identity from being exposed. He reports that last week one or more persons “decided to track me down and vandalize my car and hang a dead mutilated rabbit from my front door in a lame attempt to intimidate me from proceeding with releasing any details of my analysis. They did succeed in delaying the report by a few days but instead of deterring me they just really pissed me off. To their credit, if I had not taken a few days off from the analysis I would have missed the most damning piece of evidence — the remnants of the previous security border.”
Techdude’s detailed report, which runs more than 3000 words and 20 pages with extensive magnified illustrations and comparisons, reaches the following conclusion about the documented that was first published on the Daily Kos extreme left-wing blog and subsequently publicly endorsed by the Obama campaign, both in statements by official spokesmen, and featured on its “Fight the Smears” website. Here are some of conclusions:
“The (Daily) KOS image security border pattern does not match any known specimen from any known year. It does not match the pre-2006 nor does it match the post-2006 certificate patterns. The placement of the text in all of the pre-2006 and post-2006 certificates are almost identical pixel location matches while the image?s text placement does not match any known specimen from any known year. The shape and kerning of the fonts used in the 2006 through 2008 certificates are identical while the shape and kerning of the fonts used in the image does not match any known specimen. The KOS image shows clear signs of tampering such as the mismatch in RGB and error levels, visible indications of the previous location of the erased security border, easily detectable patterns of repeating flaws around the new security border, EXIF data that says the image was last saved with Photoshop CS3 for Macintosh, and finally a technician from Hawaii who confirms it just looks wrong.”
The evidence, he says, allows for two possible scenarios by which the document was fabricated:
“There are two obvious scenarios used to create the image that can be ascertained from evidence. Either a real COLB was scanned into Photoshop and digitally edited or a real COLB was first scanned to obtain the graphic layout then blanked by soaking the document in solvent to remove the toner. After rescanning the blank page to a separate image the graphics from the previously obtained scan could then be easily applied to the blank scan after some editing and rebuilding. It would also explain why date stamp bleeds through the paper and the various bits of toner located around the image as well as the remnants of the previous location of a security border.”
The purported birth certificate was published by the Daily Kos on June 12 in response to unconfirmed reports that Obama was not in fact born in the United States (Canada and Kenya were suggested as the possible locations of his actual birth). After more than a month of controversy and demands that the Obama campaign produce a paper birth certificate for analysis, this damning new evidence raises the stakes for the democratic party and its front-runner.
Will Obama and his people continue to stonewall in the facing of the mounting evidence of forgery, and provide paper proof of an authentic, original birth certificate or even a genuine secondary Certificate of Live Birth? And will the mass media and mainstream pundits — which so far have hesitated to touch the hot potato — finally address the loaded issue of his possible unfitness to meet the basic Constitutional requirement for a President?
Perhaps the outspoken Israeli press corps will be able to do what their fawning American counterparts have failed to do so far. Obama’s visit this week to Israel will be an opportunity to begin asking the tough questions — however unpolitically correct — about his apparently forged birth certificate and what that means for his citizenship status and Constitutional fitness to be the next leader of the free world.

Maybe it’s not just because he was born outside of the United States. It might have to do with the exact location of his birth. The Middle East perhaps? Rome, maybe? He is a “man of peace” who has almost the entire world swooning in a zombie-like love trance. If he’s not the beast, he will certainly pave the way for the beast in some manner.

Unless I read this article wrong. This study was done by an unnamed “expert” who calls himself technosomething, and his work is supported by”a technician from Hawaii who confirms it just looks wrong.†This has not been picked up by the MSM, not even FOX, and Hillary never used this information to put an early end to the primaries.

His mother was born in Kansas in 1942. Lived in California, Texas, and graduated from Mercer Island High School in Washington state in 1960. She enrolled that fall at the University of Hawaii , became pregnant, married , and gave birth to Obama in August of 1961. This is all public record.
If Senator Obama were delivered in a hospital, both mother and baby would have a chart on microfilm. Even though their charts are privileged information, as we have seen, there are ways to get restricted documents. Astrologers have had a copy of his birth certificate for years.
With the Internet, anyone can publish anything. If it sounds ridiculous, it probably is. Now more than ever in our history we must know who is writing what, and what is the veracity of the author.
You assume that if one supports candidate Obama for president we are all ” swooning in a zombie-like love trance. ” Perhaps we have been horrified by the last 8 years of governance, and have researched Senator Obama’s policies and find him intelligent, capable, and willing to change course to elevate us out of the deep hole we now find ourselves in as a result of the policies of our present administration.
Vote wisely. When Bush took office gas was $1.40 something a gallon, and he didn’t do squat to repeal Roe vs Wade, or abolish illegal abortion!

i assume that “MSM” refers to the mainstream media… but do you really find it surprising that the mainstream media would not pick up this story?!?… as noted in this article from israel insider, the “MSM” fawns all over obama!… so why would they want to run a story like this?!?
surely you’re not suggesting that the information contained in this article from israel insider is false simply because the mainstream media has not picked up on it, are you??… the mainstream media is a propaganda machine with its own agenda… its goal is to shape and mold public opinion NOT inform us… so they are very selective about what info they present to the public… whether or not the “MSM” runs a story is not indicative of the story’s veracity…
IF the story is not true, then why doesn’t obama produce a paper copy of his birth certificate???… that should be easy enough to do, and would certainly settle the matter… i have a paper copy of my birth certificate (as does everyone i know)… so why is this such a problem for obama???… the only reason it could be such a problem is because obama does NOT have one!
i agree with you that folks should “vote wisely”…
here are some things that folks should know about obama and the issues:
re: gasoline prices, don’t expect them to come down if obama is elected… obama is AGAINST offshore drilling!
re: abortion, don’t expect roe v wade to be repealed…. obama is in FAVOR of abortion in all forms… in fact, obama is in FAVOR of the horrendous practice of PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION… also, obama VOTED AGAINST the Born Alive Protection Act… in other words, obama voted against providing medical treatment to babies born alive after a botched abortion!!
i find it interesting that you bring up gas prices and abortion as a way to condemn bush when obama’s record in these 2 areas is FAR MORE DISMAL and damaging to the american public both economically and to the innocent unborn citizens…
here are a few more things folks should know about obama and the isssues:
obama is against school vouchers and school choice…
obama is against tax cuts… (i.e. he is in favor of tax increases)…
obama is in favor of gun bans (i.e. against citizens owning guns) and in favor of a ban on rifle ammunition (which is used basically for hunting and sporting) while he voted against tougher penalties for gang activity…
in addition, obama is in favor of criminal prosecution for the use of firearms used in self defense… =:~o
obama is in favor of big government…
and in favor of a police state… well, i would call it a “police state”… he’s in favor of setting up an armed civilian force the size of our combined military forces…
obama is in favor of universal healthcare (aka socialized medicine)
obama is in favor of a contiguous palestinian state (i.e. in favor of a divided israel) and in favor of a divided jerusalem…
obama is a globalist and a laodicean “christian” (i.e. a christian in name only, self-labeled and without a clue as to who Jesus is)
so i agree: vote wisely!

i forgot to ask you something… you said that you had researched obama’s policies and found him intelligent, capable, etc… so my question is: what policies are you referring to???… surely you don’t think the “policies” outlined in my previous post (tax increases, partial birth abortion, no school vouchers, no offshore drilling, dividing israel, etc. etc.) are beneficial for our country, or do you??

You bet, if there were one shred of truth in this article about the unnamed work of an unnamed source, Fox would have broad cast it for days, weeks, we could tune in right now and hear about it if there was one believable fact to back it up. AND, I know the Clinton’s would not have hesitated to use this lethal information if there were a shred of truth to it. When you declare candidacy for president do you have to show proof of age and citizenship? Since there are requirements in these areas I would assume so, but I don’t know. I don’t know ditz about the Israel Insider, but considering the mess in their country, I could believe they are as vulnerable to propaganda as we are.
I believe the copy you see of his birth certificate is the paper copy you want. As an OB nurse for 40 years I know that information required on certificates of live birth have changed over the years, and from state to state. I have helped fill out thousands. There is a complimentary hospital copy and then the registered copy that you must present when applying for college and other things. These are public records at the courthouse in the county of birth. I don’t know if “celebrities ” have a hold on releasing this information or if anyone can pay the fee and obtain one. I know I was able to get my grandparents, and aunts and uncles certificates without any trouble.
Why do I like Obama????
Off shore drilling will not help now, it will cause us to invest treasury that could be better spent developing alternative energy and the infrastructure to deliver it. There were only so many dinosaurs, and we will one day run out of oil, so since we are in such a dilemma, lets break free now.
I favor a universal single payer healthcare program. Over 3 million Americans without healthcare is a horrible statistic for the richest nation in the world. The most common result of no insurance is the ill do not seek treatment early, and by the time they finally see a Dr they are either at death’s door, or their disease is so involved it will take extreme treatment. A 60 yo friend who has worked all her life, was laid off, insurance cancelled, and she was diagnosed with lymphoma last week. She has had to battle every Dr office(and there are many-family doc, surgeon, anesthesiologist, radiologist, pathologist, oncologist, and now the radiology oncologist.) Plus the hospital wants their money. It is hard to focus on healing when all these folks want a piece of your life. I don’t know how many have died because they did not seek treatment, but the last statistics I knew from our local hospital where I worked, was 58% of all births are medicaid—-you and I and our tax dollars.
I favor taxing the rich accordingly. We have had almost 8 years of the middle class paying the biggest portion of the tax bill while the rich are helping the economy by producing jobs. Problem is they outsourced most of them and pocketed the profits. CEO’s of large corps now make around 400% above the highest paid laborer. Lets go for fair and balanced. How successful would some of these businesses be without a janitor?
I favor registering pistols and banning assault weapons from the public at large. I also favor licensing gun owners. I have to have a license to drive a car which has the potential to kill someone. A guns solo purpose is to kill something or someone, and I think the operator should know how to operate a gun safely. In my state the only requirement is you must take hunter safety if you are between 12 and 18.
Peace for Israel will only be achieved when Palestine has peace.
I am pro choice. As I stated, I spent my lifetime doing my part to get babies safely delivered into this world. We need to work on preventing unwanted pregnancies not just be anti-abortion. We can start by increasing the self esteem of our young girls so they can feel comfortable and supported if they want to just say NO. We need to explore programs that consider sex to be a natural part of being human, but also the responsibilities of engaging in such, especially if you are not prepared or lack maturity to handle the outcomes. I think Obama is more apt to initiate solutions in this area. All this flap about partial birth abortion— in 40 years I have never seen one, known a physician who has performed one. I believe it was more a political operation than a medical one.
I also believe Obama has a natural ability to see both sides of a problem and propose remedies and solutions.
I was never in favor of invading Iraq. At the time the drums were rolling , before I would ask a young person to protect and possbly give his life for me, I wanted to know I, our country had done EVERYTHING possible to prevent an invasion of choice. At the time I did not think we had, and then to find out the information we were given was if not actual, at the least, borderline lies. I think our military has done all they can, are worn out, our equipment is worn out, the credit card this war is charged on is worn out , and Osama and the Taliban are alive and well in Afganistan, and we cannot ignore the situation we are in. When our military come home look for a dramatic rise in post tramatic stress. It will make Viet Nam look like a tea party.

I see your point. It does seem like a solution to tax the rich to give to the poor, especially when the poor are dying because of the absence of healthcare for them.
My question:
Is that really the best solution? I think that the family and the church should fill in wherever they can, to the point where the government is no longer needed in that area. Agape giving is the desirable: I think that it is the most effective way to make healthcare available to all and maintain quality.
I think that Obama will introduce a foundation for a future socialist America.
[All of this is, of course, IMHO]
