In The Days

The Lord created mankind in His image and likeness. As we know, after a season The Lord caused Adam to sleep and from Adam Our Father brought forth Adam’s bride.

Geneses 2:25•And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. tell us that the newly created man and his wife were naked and were not ashamed.

Enter the devil, and he beguiled, beguiled•But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.—2 Corinthians 11:3, the bride and Adam and his bride disobeyed God and joined satan in his rebellion. Sin entered the world•Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:—Romans 5:12 and as a result death passed upon Adam and Eve and all their race.

When the LORD comes to seek them out He calls “where art thou”•And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?—Genesis 3:9. Sin had opened mankind’s eyes to evil and he saw that he was naked before God and they hid themselves.

Who told you•And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?—Genesis 3:11 that you were naked? Did you disobey and eat of the forbidden tree?

As we know, God covered •Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.—Genesis 3:21 their nakedness and shame with coats of skins.

Our shame has been covered•Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.—Romans 4:7 through our faith•For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.—Romans 10:11 in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

My point is just this, uncovered sin makes mankind and nations naked and ashamed before God. In Isaiah 20•At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;—Isaiah 20:2-3, God used nakedness to show the shame of the heathen nations around Israel.

Now our heathen enemies, through their terror against this backsliding nation, have uncovered our shame.

Soon, according to the latest news, we will a be required to stand before machines before boarding our planes.

The shame of our nation is being revealed, first our shoes, now they will electronically look past our coverings and our nation will be ashamed before God and all mankind.

The heathen will dismiss this as nonsense. However, the Scripture reveals their shame, for they don’t believe•For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.—Romans 10:11 in the covering sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
