Happy Thanksgiving 2015

Here in the USA, in the midst of extremely trouble times, we are celebrating Thanksgiving Day. A day set aside to give thanks to our creator for the bountiful blessings bestowed upon our country and thereby upon our lives.

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
Phil 4:6

The Staff of In The Days do thank the Lord Jesus for His sacrificial death and triumphant resurrection from the dead. We know that He entered this world that it might be saved. To the unregenerate, the word saved has little personal meaning. However, to the reborn, this word, saved, carries deep eternal personal meanings.

Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving,
The Staff of In The Days

Thank you for your good wishes this Thanksgiving, and for this website. Listening to the Lincoln proclamation, we can see just how far we have moved away from God. The grace is said after the meal – lest we forget.
Beware that you do not forget.
Deuteronomy 8:10 – “When you have eaten and are full, then you shall bless the LORD your God for the good land which He has given you. Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today.”
