I will be traveling to Israel and the Middle East with President Bush, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and the White House press corps from Jan. 8-17. The trip will include stops in Jerusalem; Jericho (in the Palestinian-controlled territories); Kuwait City, Kuwait; Manama, Bahrain; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
“Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.”
—Malachi 3:16
I will travel on the White House press charter during what may be one of the most important times in the history of Israel and the Middle East. Many are praying that doors will open and that I might have the opportunity to share my heart with President Bush, Secretary Rice, and others as to the importance of America’s position on the land of Israel.
The volatile issues that have arisen in Pakistan in recent days make the region even more stressful and dangerous. It is said that security for President Bush’s trip will be unprecedented. In Israel, 10,000 policemen will provide security during the visit in addition to members of the U.S. Secret Service.
According to Ha’aretz, President Bush has changed the itinerary of his trip to Israel in order to fit in a visit to Capernaum on the northern end of the Sea of Galilee. Church officials in Capernaum are preparing for the visit, which might also include a stop at the nearby Church of the Beatitudes.
I look forward to spending nine days with President Bush, his staff and the White House media at such an opportune time — and I will have insight during the trip.
My trip will be extremely costly, so please pray about making a tax-deductible gift to help with the expenses.
You can make an online contribution by clicking here.
You can also send a check to “About Him,” P.O. Box 25095, Alexandria, VA 22313. Or you may call 1-703-751-1014 to donate by phone. Again, all gifts are tax-deductible as this is a 501(c)(3) news ministry.
Thank you for your consideration of both prayer and financial assistance.
