There will be no Palestinian – Israeli final peace agreement that excludes east Jerusalem, chief Palestinian negotiator Ahamd Ahmad Qurei told the envoy of the international mediators of the UN, US, EU and Russia, Tony Blair, during a meeting in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
“And it shall come to pass, that as ye were a curse among the heathen, O house of Judah, and house of Israel; so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear not, but let your hands be strong. For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not: So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.”
—Zechariah 8:13-15
Any final peace deal reached with Israel must include all the permanent status issues, mainly Jerusalem, the capital of the Palestinian state, and the Palestinian refugees’ right of return, Qurei said after the meeting with Blair.
Blair has expressed to Qurei his understanding of the Palestinian position and readiness of the Quartet to play an active role in negotiations and stressed his rejection of the persisting expansion of the Israeli illegal colonial settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The land belongs to Israel. God gave Israel the title deed and said it was FOREVER. When you embark on a journey to undo God’s doing, you’re on dangerous ground.
….Second thought, no wonder Palestinians want Obama in office; he too wants to take what belongs to some Americans and give it to others.

it is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS that the arabs with their vast quantity of lands should seek to take one square inch of the land that God Almighty gave to israel!!!… and the world is going along with this?!?
this reminds me of the story in 2 Samuel 12 about the rich man (the arab nations) who had exceedingly many flocks and herds, and the poor man (israel) who had nothing, except one little ewe lamb (the size of new jersey)… and a traveler (the “palestinians”) came to the rich man, who refused to take from his own flock and from his own herd to prepare for the wayfaring man (the “palestinians”); but instead he (the arab nations) took the poor man’s lamb (israel) and prepared it for the man who had come to him (i.e. prepared to give it to the “palestinians” who are really arabs)… NO ONE in their right mind would think that this was justice!
this makes absolutely no sense in the natural realm!… it ONLY makes sense in the spiritual realm!… it only makes sense in light of spiritual forces that work through the nations to eliminate israel in an attempt to prevent the 2nd coming of Christ…
the old testament is the history of how spiritual forces worked in an attempt to prevent the 1st coming of Christ… satan and his minions didn’t succeed then, and they won’t succeed now!… but they sure are trying hard!

Jen-0: “the old testament is the history of how spiritual forces worked in an attempt to prevent the 1st coming of Christ.”
I’ve never heard it summed up that way but it’s right on. Thanks!

hi becca!
i was a new christian reading through the bible for the first time when i stumbled upon ephesians 6:12 (which became my all time favorite verse)… talk about a paradigm shift!… i read that verse, and thought to myself - wow, so that’s what’s been going on!… i would never look at the world the same way again…
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
the bible will never make sense to people who do not have spiritual eyesight… and events in the world won’t make sense either unless people understand what is going on spiritually (such as in the case of israel with the world ganging up against a tiny speck of real estate the size of new jersey… it just doesn’t make sense unless people understand the spiritual forces behind this attack)
but OUR GOD WINS!
and satan is not only evil, he is delusional to think that he even stands a chance against our God… that is why the people who follow satan and his world systems are DELUSIONAL, too… because you become like the ‘god’ you worship… and delusion breeds delusion…
nice chatting with you!
and i enjoy reading your posts!
shalom,
