BEIJING — President Barack Obama says Israel’s latest move to build hundreds of new apartments in a neighborhood claimed by the Palestinians complicates administration efforts to relaunch peace talks and embitters the Palestinians.

Obama told Fox News in an interview Wednesday that additional settlement building doesn’t make Israel safer. He said such moves make it harder to achieve peace in the region, and embitters the Palestinians in a way that he said could be very dangerous.
Obama and the Palestinians have demanded that Israel halt settlement construction.
The Jerusalem city government moved forward Tuesday with plans to build in a Jewish neighborhood in East Jerusalem, which Palestinians claim for their future capital.

What would we say if all of a sudden Britian started demanding that we halt any further settlements in what was once their British Colonies? What if they suddenly decided to re-occupy areas in this country that we won in our war of independance over 200 years ago and then told US to get out? That is what we are doing to Israel… what is WRONG with our government?

Obama seems naive, he cannot possibly believe that NOTHING will stop palestinian, islamic and antisemetic rage against Israel. Any peace will be short lived and serve only the egos of the “peacemakers.” Open your eyes Obama! You are messing with the only nation God ever made a covenant with! Glory to God! Seeks God’s glory not earthly praise Obama it’s your eternal soul at stake!!
