Jesus Missing From Obama’s Georgetown Speech

A symbol of Jesus was apparently blacked out behind President Barack Obama during his Georgetown speech.
White House asked university to cover symbol

Amidst all of the American flags and presidential seals, there was something missing when President Barack Obama gave an economic speech at Georgetown University this week — Jesus.
The White House asked Georgetown to cover a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name in Gaston Hall, which Obama used for his speech, according to CNSNews.com.
The gold “IHS” monogram inscribed on a pediment in the hall was covered over by a piece of black-painted plywood, and remained covered over the next day, CNSNews.com reported.
The Washington Times’ Belief Blog asked the university about the presidential request:
Julie Bataille from the university’s press office e-mailed me that the White House had asked that all university signage and symbols behind the stage in Gaston Hall be covered.
“The White House wanted a simple backdrop of flags and pipe and drape for the speech, consistent with what they’ve done for other policy speeches,” she wrote. “Frankly, the pipe and drape wasn’t high enough by itself to fully cover the IHS and cross above the GU seal and it seemed most respectful to have them covered so as not to be seen out of context.”
While the “IHS” directly behind where Obama spoke was covered over, CNSNews.com said the monogram was still visible in 26 other places in the hall during his speech. Those areas just weren’t as prominent.
The Belief Blog talked with the Rev. Thomas Reese, a senior fellow at the Woodstock Institute at Georgetown University, who said he didn’t think “this is motivated by theology, but by communications strategy.”
The blog also talked with Catholic University spokesman Victor Nakas, who felt a bit more strongly on the subject:
“I can’t imagine, as the bishops’ university and the national university of the Catholic Church, that we would ever cover up our religious art or signage for any reason,” Mr. Nakas wrote. “Our Catholic faith is integral to our identity as an institution of higher education.”

The IHS symbol that was covered up at Georgetown stands for the Egyptian pagan trinity of Isis, Horus, Seb. It has nothing to do with Jesus Christ, God’s only Son who died for the sins of mankind. Georgetown is a Catholic (Jesuit) University. The Jesuits (The Society of Jesus) were founded by Ignatius Loyola who also founded the Illuminati. The Jesuits would have us believe the IHS symbol is the first three letters of Jesus’ name in Greek. The IHS symbol also appears on the Catholic eucharist (communion wafer) which Catholic priests claim they can change into the actual body and blood of Christ (transubstantiation) during the mass. None of this is biblical. The Catholic “Jesus” is “another Jesus” – 2 Cor 11:4.

Isn’t it tell tale that Jesus name was in Obama’s way? The action speaks louder than the words.
They should have told Mr. O that if they had to cover something then he had to lose the teleprompter. Oh, wait, then he wouldn’t have spoken.

Well now let’s be honest did anyone expect anything different from a man who says he is a christian and tells his muslim brothers America is not a christian nation or how about a man who uses the tax payers dollars to give abortions to those who want to kill thier children or how about a man who puts in a women who calls people who don’t agree with his views terrorists while those who really are terrorists we don’t need to use that word for them anymore. I got one word for you OUTRAGEOUS!!! We are living in a mixed up and decieved world. The LORD is on his way and I say come Lord Jesus come!

I don’t expect anything related to Jesus to come out of Obama’s mouth any time soon. I don’t even expect Allah to come out of his mouth. I think he only slants muslim because he has muslim friends and family that influence hm and give him money and support.

It was not his university to disrespect. He calls himself a Christian, but he is turning out to be like a Muslim more and more as each day goes by. Under his leadership, this country will fall and their will be a reckoning. God will not let this country live in sin any longer. I don’t think it was a mistake for Obama to be elected. Because God will be glorified no matter what. If he fails, the people of America will witness false prophecy. I don’t think Obama is the Anti-Christ, but I do think he will introduce the Anti-Christ. Which means we are all close to God’s coming back. He is ALIVE!! And don’t be fooled by the wolf in sheep’s clothing, for he will deceive you.

My take on this whole issue is that God is the One Who’s removing His Name from everything in this country, because He’s only being honored by mouth…hearts are far from Him. If you were God, would you want the Name of your Only Begotten and Unique Son (your Only Forgotten Son) on display behind a closet Muslim speaking at a Roman Catholic university?
He removed the Ten Commandments from a court room, and many other things He has done. It is, however, right and proper that we oppose this as Christians.
Pretty soon, He’ll remove His Name from our currency…It makes me think of Ez 9
when He slowly withdraws His presence from the temple, and no one objects, or
even notices.
