Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak spoke out against Iran during a meeting with members of the Egyptian ruling party, according to a report in the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida on Thursday, cited by Israel Radio.
Mubarak accused the Islamic Republic of trying to subsume its Muslim neighbors, telling the forum that “the Persians are trying to devour the Arab states.”
Mubarak’s comments came after the Egyptian leader recalled the country’s diplomatic envoy from the Iranian capital earlier this week following an increase in tension between the two countries.
Recent strain between Cairo and Teheran has grown as several demonstrations in Iran called for the hanging of the Egyptian leader. The Iranian FARS news service reported that participants in recent student demonstrations outside the Egyptian diplomatic mission in Teheran also chanted “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” and burned an Israeli flag.
On Wednesday the Egyptian ministry was quoted as criticizing some Iranian newspapers that have repeatedly insulted Egyptian policies and leadership recently. Teheran media, for example, broadcast incitement against Cairo’s policy allegedly preventing aid from reaching Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Iran needs to be dealt with swiftly and thoroughly. Any country that poses such a threat and is openly bent on full destruction of the United States (not to mention Israel) should be cut off from all forms of assistance: medical, food, money, weapons, education…
If someone murders some of your family members and vows to kill the rest eventually, would you give (or continue to give) them items for survival and growth????
Cutting off any form of aid to Iran is the second largest way in which we can halt their evil capabilities from progressing so rapidly.
The first and most crucial way to halt their evil paradigm is reaching them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Who will go into that harvest field? I pray that God will call, equip, send and protect men and women for ministry to Muslims, but specifically to those in Iran.

The 12th Imam, Islam’s Messiah, Al Mahdi or the Antichrist comes from Syria, part of ancient Assyria and the False Prophet from Persia or today’s Iran. The prophets talked about his location, called him the Assyrian, King of Assyria, King of Babylon, all areas in the Middle East, NOT Europe as commonly taught. The most interesting titles are King of the North; Damascus, Syria’s capital, literally means ‘land to the north’; Prince of Tyre, Tyre is in Lebanon which is a Syrian puppet. Iran’s Ahmadinejad meets constantly with Bashar Assad, the Syrian President and publicly says that he met Al Mahdi and that he will soon be revealed to the world. Syria is pressuring Israel to give up the Golan Heights and is also calling the shots in making Israel give up Judea and Samaria and divide Jerusalem, just like Daniel prophesied that the Antichrist will divide the Land of Israel for gain. Turkey is now mediating talks about a “peace” between Syria and Israel that will soon emerge in the form of a 7-year treaty. This will begin the 7-year Tribulation. After Damascus is destroyed, the Antichrist will move to Jerusalem. The Jews will try to rebuild the Temple, but the Antichrist will stop the blood sacrifice that comes before a Temple can be built, prohibiting the Jews from building. In the middle of the 7 years, he will then sit on the Temple Mount in the temple (the word means pagan temple or shrine, NOT God’s Temple, and refers to the Dome of the Rock mosque which today is pretty much the symbol of Jerusalem) as God sits in His Temple in heaven, thus fulfilling the Abomination of Desolation in Daniel. Satan and his angels will then be cast down to Earth, the grand delusion, dazzling us with signs and wonders, exactly like in the time of Noah when the fallen angles mingled with the seed of men, creating the hybrid race called Nephilim, the Giants. At the end of the Tribulation, right before the Day of the Lord, the Day of God’s wrath, when the signs in the sun, moon and stars happen, the Lord will come to pour judgment upon the Earth and at the same time to redeem his people in the Rapture. Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart.

that’s quite a detailed post…
i do have a couple of questions for you, though:
are you saying that the 12th imam IS the anti-christ?
(i never thought about this before)
perhaps, it is something akin to the prophecies of Jesus’ first coming (He will be a “nazarene”, He will be born in “bethlehem”, He will “come out of egypt”… know what i mean?
second, you say that “at the end of the tribulation…the Lord will come to pour judgement upon the earth and at the same time redeem his people in the rapture”
do you not consider the tribulation (the whole tribulation) to be God’s pouring of judgement upon the earth?
i ask this because (obviously) i think that the tribulation is the wrath of God and His judgement being poured upon the earth… and following that train of thought, i believe that the rapture happens PRIOR to the judgement (for we are saved from the wrath that is to come)
perhaps you could clarify your thinking for me… (if you get a chance to see my post) LOL (i know that it is buried back here because i haven’t been online for a while)
