Women were shown in the water as he walked. The camera showed an underwater shot of the woman passing her hand around and under his shoes as he walked along. The crowd went wild. Women waded into the water to touch his hand. They ooh’d and awed as if he were God Himself.

He said that he would show them things that were beyond their wildest imaginations. He said that they were capable of doing amazing and wonderful things also.

If this is not a trick, it is demonic!

People like Todd Bentley are a sign of the times. The water walker received the adoration of the crowd with his hands still held out, his body in the shape of a cross. The crowd was small so I suspect a hoax.

Did anyone else see this on TV. It aired on Saturday, at 5:30 pm EDST?

Be alert for signs of deception!

Many professing Christians don’t read their Bibles and many that do don’t believe the inerrancy of Scripture. They are always looking for signs and wonders, running to the next “out pouring”

Luke 11:29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.

Ezek. 13:3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

When the so-called revival first began, Bentley made the bold statement that God told him this revival would continue until the second coming of the Lord.

Deut. 18:20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

Jesus warned us before His return there would be:

Matt. 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Matt. 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.
Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
2Pet. 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

You “Pastors” out there who led your flocks to be fleeced by this charlatan need to repent, and then get out of the ministry.
