Russia asks Israel to end Gaza attacks, let in aid

MOSCOW, Dec 28 (Reuters) – Russia urged Israel on Sunday to end military attacks that had killed nearly 300 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and allow humanitarian supplies into the territory, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said.

“Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.”
—Ezekiel 38:7

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov conveyed Moscow’s position during a telephone conversation with Israeli counterpart Tzipi Livni held at her initiative, the ministry said in a statement.
“Our side expressed Russia’s position in favour of an immediate end to military actions in the Gaza Strip, which have already led to numerous victims among the Palestinians,” the statement said.
“It was underlined that it is necessary to restore the regime of ceasefire, which would ensure the security of the civilian population in Israel’s south. Russia stressed the importance of letting humanitarian cargo into Gaza.”
On Sunday, Israel destroyed Hamas’s main Gaza security complex in an air strike on the territory run by the Islamist Hamas group.
Israel is also preparing for a possible invasion of the Gaza Strip after killing more than 280 Palestinians in the first 24 hours of a powerful offensive.
Israeli leaders said the campaign was a response to almost daily cross-border rocket and mortar fire that intensified after Hamas ended a six-month ceasefire a week ago. (Reporting by Dmitry Solovyov; Editing by Sami Aboudi)

Isn’t it funny how “humanitarian” the Russians suddenly sound? Seems I remember the Russians blocking aid to Georgia when it was invaded BY THEM. Georgia was in desperate need of food and supplies but Russia impeded them on every side. Anyone can see that Russia is only interested in ending this conflict because they have a direct interest in Hamas. Also, isn’t it interesting how they are diametrically opposed to whatever side America/Israel is on -no matter the subject? Do not be deceived….These days, Russia and humanitarianism are no bedfellows.

Interesting how the world puts all the blame on Israel when they are only responding to constant attacks made on them. But of course I know as we all do, looking at it through the lense of the Bible, it makes perfect sense.

The Anti Israel media are having a field day. They don’t highlight the number of attacks Israel experiences on a regular basis from her enemies.

Why doesn’t the aid go through Egypt’s border with Gaza?

It’s the days of callinf evil good and good evil…Don’t be surprised by it. Russia is once again exposing it’s true identity and it’s obvious bias towards the Muslim and Anti-Israel positions. How long until She heads down with her un0holy gathering to try and invade the Land that God loves? Woe be to Gog and Magog!

well said, and the above scripture references are exciting to contemplate, as it means that the fullfillment of prophecy and return of our Lord is near.
