Gentlemen: Seeing that the Bible clearly describes a Bishop, I am amazed that you would dare refer to anyone as the Archbishop. Peter referrs to Jesus as the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. Who can dare place himself above Christ. Forget what the poor man has done, think on who said, “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” Isa 14 remember him? 1 Tim 3:1 This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
1 Tim 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; (This is a clue)
Titus 1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; (got the picture yet?)
1 Pet 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. (And who is The Bishop above all?)

The Archbishop of Canterbury is head of the Church of England (Episcopalian to you Americans). He is definitely NOT a “Catholic Bishop”.

Catholic Bishops use lofty sounding phrases, but never talk about the Lord Jesus or their personal relationship to Him. Nor do they know Him as God of all Creation. They teach a social gospel that brings no one to Christ. I would never take any advice–policitcal, economic, or other–from a Catholic Bishop. Prime Minister Brown appears to have it right.

The Bishop of Rochester the Rt.Rev. Michael Nazir-Ali is one of the few Bishops in the Church of England who is prepared to stand up for Biblical Truth.
As for Dr Rowan Williams, although what he says does make some sense, he needs to repent of his infatuation with Islam and really seek The Lord.
Earlier this year Gordon Brown was regarded as an absolute failure as PM,
he seemingly solves Britain’s financial problems and his political ratings shoot up.
How gullible can people get?
Who is pulling the strings?
