Yes. Sure. I think we’ve beat this one to death. Obama would not be the greatest thing for this country. But Bush was/is like an emperor with no clothes, deceiving, duping and flummoxing all the “Christians” who don’t read Scripture, don’t do what Scripture says, and therefore find themselves and the country in a huge mess. Someone once said “People get the government they deserve.” (I mean this in a “nice” way, so I hope no one goes all ACLU on me and censors this.)

Carrie: with all due respect, what does the age of Obama have to do with anything? He was 8 when Ayers committed terrorism against the United States, so. Obama grew up to be an adult with a fully functioning mental capacity yet he chose to make & maintain a close association with Mr. Ayers. It’s not like they are just acquaintances. Obama’s choice to consistently associate with folks such as Ayers is a strong testimony to his personal ideology and evidence of the kinds of decisions he will make as President. Talking with, let alone befriending, terrorist is BAD for our nation. If McCain was friends with this person it would be smattered across the media daily and presented in a most sinister light.

This is not a new subject, and has been put through the mill several times. All the fact check organizations I know of do not support your view that Ayers and Obama were close buddies.

May I suggest, in addition to Fox news and youtube, you go to http://www.factcheck.org, a non partisan organization which has a post today regarding the Ayer’s situation.
I am more troubled by the persistent repeating of untruths by Sarah Palin, potentially our president, than I am by Obama being appointed to the same educational board as Ayers. I believe they served on a charity board together also. And, as recently as a year or two ago ran into each other in the grocery store. As a christian, I am sure you believe in redemption and forgiveness of sins. Apparently Mr Ayer’s has been a productive citizen since his escapades of his youth.
Mrs Palin, is at this moment, guilty of ethical violations of the state of Alaska. Another investigation is on going and may bring to light even more ways in which she has misused her power as Governor. Her reaction to these findings? “She is sure glad she has been totally exonerated of any wrong doing”? Now, Joe and Jill six pack can rest assured, you betcha.
Mr McCain has already had his professional brush with the law . He talks of the all the sins of Washington which must be addressed and fixed, as if he hasnt been a part of the problem. He says he knows”how to fix em and will fight for us”, but has not done much in the past 26 years he has been a resident senator there.
Am I planning to vote for Obama? NO. I already have.

As a christian, I do believe in redemption and the forgiveness of sins. When there is repentance and belief in Yeshua as the Messiah. Somehow I don’t believe that Ayers believes in the Messiah and according to his own words he is unrepentant.

As a christian, I generally do not believe in reincarnation. However, I am coming to suspect lynda is the reincarnation of patt.
Man’s truth and facts do not interest me. Man tells me I was descended from apes. It is only G-d’s truth in the Bible that we should trust in.
We can discern the type of man Obama is simply by listening to what he says himself. We have heard Obama say that he prays all the time by talking to himself. He is telling us he thinks he is g-d.
Ayers is simply the type of association you would expect Obama to have if you have really been listening to what he is saying. He is an extremely dangerous man.

Though we would all like to say “guilt by association”, it does not play a part in this role. What does play a part in this is he lied about Ayers and his friendship with him. He has said several different explanations about their friendship and professional workings. And though Obama was only 8 when Ayers did those horrible things, he was not 8 when Ayers said “I don’t regret what I did, I wish we had done more” in 2001. The fact is Obama has associated himself with shady people and his own past is sketchy at best. I was an Obama supporter but when I went to find out more about him, I didn’t liked what I saw. The more I looked the more shadier it got. When I vote…I look at the voting record and McCain has a better stand on issues that have strong means to me. I don’t believe Obama is ready to take a tough stance on any issue . And just because you don’t vote for Obama doesn’t mean your racist. I asked a gentlemen the other day, who was respectfully African-American, who he was voting for. He said “Barack…cause he’s black”. I in turn said “I’m gonna vote for McCain, cause he’s white”. My friend got mad and said I was racist. I asked him if I said aanything he himself just didn’t say one second before. He thought about it and said “it’s not the same”. I asked him how come and he has yet to give me a reason. That was 3 weeks ago. I asked him to look at the issues and voting records of the two canidates and he told me yesterday he was voting for McCain. I believe he made the right choice.
