“I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;”
—Isa 43:6

“O Israel, trust•Strongs 982: batach, baw-takh´; a primitive root; properly, to hie for refuge (but not so precipitately as 2620); figuratively, to trust, be confident or sure:—be bold (confident, secure, sure), careless (one, woman), put confidence, (make to) hope, (put, make to) trust. thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.”
—Psa 11115:9

tudents at the St. Petersburg Interior Ministry University have recently been given new manuals on Russian history, the Vremya Novostey daily reports Monday.

The textbook, entitled “The history of Russia’s state and law. 1985-1991”, covers the Soviet period in Russia’s history with specific stress on the Perestroika years. Its author, a Mr. Drozhin, is a professor at the Interior Ministry University, and he doesn’t hesitate to say who should be blamed for the USSR failure.

The paper quotes several statements from the textbook.

“Zionists physically eliminated Stalin.”

“The fall of the USSR and appearance of the CIS on its territory made Hitler’s dream come true. What the German Nazism couldn’t do, Zionism managed to accomplish.”

“Speaking at the Israeli parliament in February 1992, Gorbachev–Garber said, ‘Everything I did to the Soviet Union I did in the name of our God Moses”.

The textbook has been approved without limitations by the St. Petersburg Interior Ministry University, one of Russia’s largest universities training law-enforcement staff.

Anti-Semitism and xenophobia continue to persist in the Russian society, in spite of being severely criticized at the official level.
